MIKE "DYNAMIKE" DAVIS TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE UWA ELITE HALL OF FAME ON 1/14/17 AT SETTING THE STANDARD
On Saturday Night, January 14th, Mike "DynaMike" Davis will officially be inducteed into the UWA Elite Hall of Fame during a special ceremony that will kick off UWA Elite Setting the Standard.
The Hall of Fame Ceremony will start at 6:00pm, half an hour before the Setting The Standard event, and will feature UWA Elite President Dave Swan, UWA Elite Tag Team Champions The BROtein Pack, and a HUGE collection of UWA Elite Allstarz from the Past and Present.
DynaMike Davis began his UWA Elite career, fittingly, at the 2011 Crossroads Tournament. His debut was a victory against Johnny “The Scout” Eagle, a former 2-time iChampion, and it predicated Davis’ future success in the Crossroads Tournament.
Davis found an early ally in the 2011 season in the form of TKO. Together, the two UWA Elite newcomers formed Hot & Dangerous, and were the first truly great pairing in UWA Elite’s storied tag team history. Hot & Dangerous claimed two UWA Elite Tag Team Championships, defeating such notable AllStarz as Eric Corvis, Bowes, Cypress, Brian Brass, and Davis’ future partner TJ Blade during those reigns.
The allure of singles success eventually overtook Davis in the 2012 season, and DynaMike turned on TKO to begin a villainous solo career. “World Famous” DynaMike Davis began sporting a completely new “Hollywood” look, complete with beanie, skinny jean leggings and an obnoxious red scarf. The change in attitude brought Davis a great deal of success. By the end of 2012, he was in the triple main event of Last Breath, in a War Games cage match.
2013 was a benchmark year for DynaMike Davis. His cocky persona became more over-the-top than ever, as he instituted the “Make Me Famous with DynaMike Davis” challenge, in which he went undefeated. This momentum carried DynaMike Davis to a career milestone - victory in the 2013 Crossroads Tournament.
To date, DynaMike Davis is the only man that did not compete in the original UWA to win the Crossroads Tournament. His impressive run to tournament glory included victories over Sean “Damage” McNelis, Bowes, Hedges, Massacre, and fellow Hall of Famers Cypress and Big Dan Winant.
After a brief hiatus from wrestling, Davis returned with a vengeance in 2015, forming an alliance with Mike C-Way and TJ Blade that would change UWA Elite history. The BROtein Pack became the most successful faction in UWA history, holding the Trios Championships for an astounding 421 days (retired as of 1/14/17) as well as the Tag Team Championships. As a result, DynaMike Davis is one of only 2 men in UWA Elite history to hold the Tag Team Championship 3 times - fittingly, the other is TJ Blade.
For his status as the greatest tag team/faction competitor in UWA Elite history, a Crossroads Tournament winner, charismatic performer and consummate professional wrestler, it is our honor to induct DynaMike Davis in the UWA Elite Hall of Fame.
